Publisher's summary

The only thing I was looking forward to more than marrying my enemy was seeing her pregnant with my baby.

But I guess that’s why I’m the bad boy of my family—but she’s always played the good girl.

If they only knew the things she begged me to do all those years ago, when I was sneaking in through her bedroom window.

Before I left. Before I broke her heart. Before she hated me.

She doesn’t have to love me. Hell, she doesn’t even have to like me. She just has to marry me to merge our feuding families…

Best part of our contract is we have to produce a bloodline heir.

My reasons for agreeing to an arranged marriage have nothing to do with claiming our inheritance…and everything to do with claiming the woman I love.

From Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author M. Robinson comes an enemies-to- lovers, arranged marriage, second chance standalone romance.

❤️

3.5 STARS

I liked the characters. But I wasn't crazy about the way this story unfolded.

I listened to the audio and the narrators did a great job with the story!

Loved.

I love this book. Tristian OMG I want one. I loved the past mixed with the present. These two belonged together their grandfathers should have been shot for what they did. Loved loved loved it. And let me just say the 2 readers of this book were the perfect combo.

Couldn't Stop Listening

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and what made it even more exciting, were the delivery of both narrators. Jason Clark and Lidia Dornet did such an exceptional job at bringing to life this well written story. Definitely a story worth listening to repeatedly.

Not for me....

This was my second story from this author. Both the h character from both story were contradicting and her words did not match her actions. She complained so much about the H, yet she had no problem giving him her body. This was the problem for me as a romance listener. I love strong h who hold her own. Like I said, this was my second story from this, and it will be my last. I enjoyed the performance. Unfortunately, they can't save the story. Don't let my review deter you from purchasing this story. This was just my opinion.

Another second chance romance.

I don’t know what it is, but this one didn’t affect me like her books normally do. It was good, don’t get me wrong, but just not my favorite.

Tristan and Belle (Kitten) loved each other since they were seventeen, but their families (or grandfathers) got in the way. Twenty years later the grandfathers now want them together. I’m thankful that neither one was my grandfather, I don’t know how Belle could have any affection for hers.

I’m enjoying this Second Chance Romance series and look forward to reading the last one!!

Overall ok 👌

The storyline could have been better. I absolutely hated the Hero calling the Heroine "Kitten" in every sentence it was really annoying. The overall story plus the narration gets 4 🌟from me. Not sure if this will be a repeat listen though.

36 year olds who act 18

I wonder how many times they said "kitten" in the book. overkill.

For mature adults, her actions contradic her words and at her age is so frustrating.

if SebYo did the whole story it would have been more tolerable.

forced marriage...and in their wedding night he didn't ask permission, just slammed into her...did she like it? yes, should he have gotten her permission? also yes.

it's sort of a bully romance which didn't work for me for 2people in their late 30s and going to run a multi million dollar business.
