This gives me the feel of primal hunter but with more characters to develop, it is fantastic so far high first book. I am excited to see how this one plays out

It was a enjoyable listen! Laid back and what it claims to be. No harem which is always nice! Just brutal fun and advancing and I hope to see where Zane goes on this new path. CG killed it on Narration, and cover art is well done no AI cover crap.

Looking forward to the next book!

Zane is badass

Really enjoyed this book mc loves combat lots of hulk smash moments. One of my new favorite characters.

I completely enjoyed the story, MC is strong after he comes out of the dungeon but he is not the strongest but he is a battle maniac so he goes and fights everything and everyone stronger than him. great supporting characters as well. it has a DoTF vibe but it is it's own story and world. I'm looking forward to the next one!

What a story!

I absolutely found myself sucked in by this story. It was a great tale with compelling characters and one heck of a plot twist for the better. Definitely 5/5. Give it a shot.

an enjoyable new apocalyptic litrpg book, if you enjoy monsters, growing stronger and challenges you'll like this book. the main character is a bit of a Berserker

Very fast paced!

Wow, okay so the book was definitely chunky. But it was fast paced. I could easily see this as a video game with you playing the MC going from one scene to the next. Including how the MC doesn’t seem to have as much depth as other characters since you are playing MC.
You will probably notice some similarities with Defiance of the Fall, but they not overbearing. This book has a lot less detail and depth compared to DotF. Which is makes Savage its own thing. Especially since the progression is A LOT quicker! Like seven times faster… and no where near as complicated. Which makes it easier to deal with in some ways.

The storytelling is alright and the plot weaving isn’t hard to follow. The world building simple. I enjoyed the characters for the most part. I enjoyed the love interest and a whimsical secondary character probably the most. The two ladies are fun.
The MC is pretty boring and kind of an idiot… but I’m not sure if that was on purpose… maybe he is just challenged and suffering from a mental illness or something.
I will look forward to a second book.

The narrator is one I have heard before and he is pretty good. Not the best but still enjoyable compared to several others I have heard. However, he doesn’t do female voices very well at all. Which is kind of how it is for some men. Our voices just can’t handle it very well.

One of the best litrpg books out there, i was entertained the whole time. It's such a fun book.
Berserker like characters are such a joy to read.
