Publisher's summary

Bridges have been burnt, and Raysha needs out.

With the opportunity to travel and leave Darius behind, she jumps at the change and drags the Misfits along with her. Tension is rising between the nations of Erasted and Nhami, and problems plague the border towns.

Through it all winds one question she cares about above all others: Why are spirits being hunted? And how can she find a way to protect them and strike down those who dare try and harvest their hearts?

Great book, fantastic narration, idiot MC

A fantastic book and narrated well, but the MC has a massive chip on her shoulder, and feels like she really should be supervised by a responsible adult. Her constant reckless and thoughtless decisions became frustrating to read after awhile.

Fun story but sexism

While I do like the plot and characters for the most part. Not a big fan of the whole MC sexism.

Like she abused others and zaps them with her powers or wants her way but when another does the same to her, she throws fits. How they can pick on a young girl like her but it's fine is she attacks them.

Super annoying and makes me want to see her get her ass kicked just to show how it is to constantly be insulting and attacking others.
