My favorite book in the series thus far!

It takes a lot for a book to get me to cry. This series has made me laugh and cry and keep wanting to devour every book in this universe. K.N. Banet is incredibly talented and Savannah Gilmore is by far my favorite narrator as she skillfully tackles each unique character in the series.

Another great story

I absolutely love this series! The narrator is amazing and the characters are so relatable. Jacky and Heath are up there with Mercy and Adam, Kate and Curran, Kat and Bones, and Merit and Ethan. would love to read about Cassius and Sorcha.

Another amazing addition

I love this series. I enjoy the action and new adventures that are a part of each new book. The way that you are able to capture the romance without the "smut" makes it possible for me to listen to each book without giving my teenager a sex-ed lesson and allows for continued enjoyment. The narrator has been awesome as well, with my only not that she pronounced the fae sin, Rian's name multiple different ways sometimes in the same chapter. It wasn't a big deal, but was noticed. I can't wait for Rogue Alpha!

Great Read

These books just get better and better. Great read and I can't wait for the next one.

Love this series!

Love this series BUT there is NO way Jackie’s family should have been blindsided by her relationship with Heath! It’s soooo obvious! Goodness could there be a more dense set of characters!

OKAY, how come NO ONE mentioned how little miz Fiona just acted like a complete BAFOON. And how she put her husband in a position to have to sacrifice THOUSANDS just so could have her precious crusty, dusty motel life back?! Don't get me wrong, everone reacts to change differently, and I honestly couldn't imagine going through any of this. HOWEVER, who just tries manipulate their own partner into something their partner obviously CANNOT DO?! UGH, I felt like I was listening to a 12 year old babble about how it wasn't fair her little brother got a Loli pop and she didn't from the dentist. Like c'mon, Carrie is more mature than that whining, immature BAFOON.
This is my first time commenting, I've been a follower on the audio series for some time now, and as always I loveeeee these wonderouse tales of Jacky Leon. And I can't wait to listen to more.

Bring on more Jacky Leon!

I’m loving how some of Banet’s other series/characters are interwoven into the Jacky Leon series! I recently started getting into the Khalia series (omg!) and enjoy how they are in there and also not incredibly overdone (you don’t have to read the other series, but curiosity and all…). I NEED TO HEAR MORE after that last chapter! Off I go to the next book - and hope and pray for many more!

Chapter One

Something is wrong with chapter one. Either it’s an editing or recording mistake, or perhaps even something went wrong with the upload while AWS was experiencing technical difficulties, but this audiobook is missing its correct chapter one. Instead of the first chapter for Royal Pawn we hear the first chapter for Shades of Hate.
Otherwise the story was just as good as ever, a thrilling addition to the series. I count this story as a bit of a self-one-upmanship for Banet. Jacky Leon is back and this time the stakes are higher than ever before.
