Second chance romance with heart!
Alyne Hart knows how to write a beautiful and emotional story! Second chance romances are one of my favorite tropes and I loved this one so hard!
Young love is such a fragile yet strong emotion all at once. There can be pain, but also healing if the love and bond are strong enough and with Jax and Autumn it was. Alyne Hart has this knack for making her characters so endearing to the reader/listener that you quickly become so invested in the story and feel right along with them. I suggest having a comfy place to curl up in and some tissues handy as you listen. My heart ached for Autumn and Jax and the monumental loss they endure, but I also sometimes wanted to shake each of them and tell them to get their crap together. Have no fear though! This isn’t just a tear jerker. This is also a story of healing and hope and a beautiful love. The story was so well written and characters so well developed that it was easy to get lost in it and I was sad when it was over. Luckily I can listen again and again! And I plan to very soon.
Steven Barrett is a new to me narrator and I really enjoyed his work. He made for a dreamy Jax and did great work of bring all the many emotions of the story to life. I’m excite for more from him. 5 Stars.

Rocking Autumn

I got so emotionally invested in this book. Well developed and likable characters. I enjoyed listening to Autumn and Jax's story. First time listening to Steven Barrett narrating and he was good. My only issue was his female roles needed more inflections. Overall I really enjoyed this book and will definitely listen to more Alyne Hart!

Great Read
Rocking Autumn by Alyne Hart was a great read. I absolutely loved reading Autumn and Jaxon's story. They are definitely two people who deserve a second chance at love. They were in love in high school but things went bad after one fateful day. Autumn is now a bookstore owner who still loves her rock star first love. I absolutely fell in love with Autumn and Jaxon and can't wait to read more by Alyne Hart.

This may be my favorite Alyne Hart book yet. The story drew me right in. I loved the characters, the story and the love. Looking forward to knowing more of Jackson & autumn’s story in the future. I also really liked the reader & the way he told the story.

Absolutely incredible!
I loved everything about this book!! This narrator was phenomenal 😍 He did such an amazing job at doing both characters! My first book by this author and I loved her writing style. Jax and Autumn story was so beautiful. Yes, they had their share of obstacles . But I truly enjoyed every bit of their journey!

Cute little love story for a second chance romance! I love that this particular book has them both fighting just as hard to come back

Loved it - one small critique
I loved the story, but I love all of Alyne’s stuff. Steven’s voice was so pleasant to listen to. I did notice a couple of places where sentences repeated themselves though. I’m also a narrator so I understand how difficult it is to catch them all. Overall this was a great listen!

Fall into the story
When a book draws you in and has you feeling everything the characters feel, you know you are in for a treat. Autumn and Jax are high school sweethearts. Rock and roll dreams call to Jax and he leaves without warning leaving a brokenhearted Autumn. Now 10 years later and realizing what he wants, he is back to claim what is his. But will Autumn be able to forgive him and move on? There is much to say when people mature and life goes on, but a first love is so strong, that feeling is hard to forget. There are secrets to be shared, and difficulties with each living in their own towns. Will they survive the distance? I found at times I was frustrated with Autumn, wanting her to pick up and move! At the same time , I could feel her roots where she is and wanted Jax to figure out his life and come back! Alyne Hart has such a well developed plot and set of characters that it is easy to fall into their lives and experience their journey.
Narrated by Steven Barrett, he provides a wonderful performance. It is my first time hearing him and I enjoyed his array of voices and pace. He is one I will look for in the future.

All the feels!
Every single possible emotion this one has it! It was so relatable and real. The people were so in depth and the fact that he was a middle of the road rocker not a super star and she was a regular smart strong woman just grabbed my heart and wouldn’t let go. It made me smile and cry and cheer at the end. Onto the next one I can not get enough of Autumn and Jax.
