Publisher's summary
A Gotrek & Felix Audiobook
When Gotrek and Felix race to the aid of the besieged dwarf city of Karak Kadrin, they are drawn into a war that threatens the entire Old World, and pitted against a foe who could be the one to fulfil an ancient prophecy.
LISTEN TO IT BECAUSE
It's a timeless tale from the Gotrek and Felix archives that sees the intrepid adventurers battle against a warhost of Chaos that seeks nothing less than opening a rift into the heart of Chaos itself.
THE STORY
Gotrek and Felix: unsung heroes of the Empire, or nothing more than common thieves and murderers? The truth perhaps lies somewhere in between, and depends entirely upon whom you ask.
Gotrek and Felix race to the dwarf hold at Karak Kadrin, finding it besieged by one of the grand armies of Chaos under the command of Warlord Garmr. When King Ungrim Ironfist speaks of the legendary 'Road of Skulls' and of the hated foe's attempts to open a portal into the Realm of Chaos, Gotrek senses that a great doom awaits him – though it may not be the one he would choose for himself. As the king's own son leads his army of Slayers to fulfil an ancient prophecy, it seems that Garmr's hour of victory may be at hand.

Love gotrek and Felix but….
I love all of the gotrek Felix audiobooks but I’m a little confused why this is number 12 in the series when it goes back 20 years, the storyline isn’t in order anymore. I’m hoping you guys fix that and yeah that’s all I got the only complaint I have can’t wait for the other ones to come out.

Great listen
Great continuation of the story with some expected changes. On the edge of my seat the whole time. Having had fought with the dwarf army in Warhammer Fantasy and knowing the stats for Gotrx and Felix as well as Iron Fist. Ungrim has some remarkable stats and shouldn’t be so easily bested in battle

Takes place during the events of Trollslayer (Book 1)
This book does not leave off where Zombieslayer ends. it takes place about 30 years earlier. Takes places during Trollslayer between" The dark beneath the world" and "Blood and darkness" It can be considered noncanon, but still a decent listen.

Another banger
A great book, though there is a slight confusion as this book does not carry on where the last book left off, instead this is much earlier in the timeline. Also there is a slight lore inconsistency in regards to how Felix reacts to the location as it’s described as being the first time he sees it in two different books at different times.
