A great follow up to This Present Darkness
A few characters from book one find themselves entangled with a whole new cast of people. This sequel is different enough in its story that it was refreshing. Peretti dives into a bit of a courtroom drama mixed with poignant exploration of spiritual truths in the midst of a secular reality. He brings even more unique characterization to his description of his angels and demons, as the story takes you for a ride with a lot of plot points that seem unconnected at first but all come together nicely in the end.
The audio recording and voice acting of this audio book was done well too and not distracting, helps bring to life the characters and the narrative. Overall an enjoyable read/listen.
