Publisher's summary

When a murder disrupts Charm’s theater production, Everly Swan will have to step in and save the day - after all, the show must go on!

Drama comes to the small town of Charm, North Carolina!

Everly Swan is busier than ever with her iced tea shop and café, and the town of Charm is bustling with excitement as they prepare for a big event: the annual outdoor play! Everyone's getting involved - even Matt the EMT plays a character in the show. But when a surfer rolls into town and tries to upstage Matt, and then turns up dead, things get dicey. Everly is convinced of his innocence, but Detective Grady - who's a little jealous of Matt and Everly's past dating history - isn't so sure. Now, Everly will have to run her business, crack the case, and save her friend - all by opening night!

great book, great series

Each of the books in this series could be a stand alone, but once you read one, you'll want to read the entire series. The characters are bright, funny, and quirky, Enjoy, I really did.

SO SO GOOD

Avery is the essential loyal friend and super snoop. She and her cowboy just make my heart happy, even when they are having a difference of opinion. The flies in the ointment are a dead body (again), falsely accused friend, a competitor tea shop, and that pesky family curse. Other than that, all is right in Avery's world. I cannot express how happy this series makes me, and I am furious with the publisher that Book 7 will be the final book in the series.

Good story

OMG! I hate that there is only 1 left now in this series! What am I going to do? Bree Baker has definitely become a favorite author. How could she leave us hanging at the end? Can’t wait to start the next/last one. Therese Plummer you are the best narrator ever!

I Love the Coziness of the Story

I have bought all of the books in this series because I just think the whole setting, and the storylines are so cozy and a little spooky at times. I do find that Everly’s character has morphed into a little annoying. She has been injured or drugged in every single story yet gets offended when her detective boyfriend is upset with her, poking her nose in his investigations. I just find it a little cringe.

Good story.

Keeping me interested and hooked in with all the characters. Narrator is quite talented with all those distinctive voices ! It’s the best part of the story.

Solid sequel

If you’ve made it this far in the series, you won’t be disappointed

A little rushed at the end, but still a satisfying sequel
