ADHD Simplified for Parents

There are many audiobooks on parenting children with ADHD out there and I highly recommend this one. Living with ADHD is a challenge for both the child and the parents, and this audiobook does a great job at breaking down what ADHD is and even taught me that symptoms can differentiate between age and even gender. It describes the complex diagnosis process perfectly, and how to prepare yourself for an ADHD diagnosis assessment. The most important chapter for me was chapter 4 that covers behavioral management strategies and different therapy techniques to try. The book is a game changer for any parents that are struggling with a child that has been diagnosed with this condition. It's a must listen.

Wonderful information

While I do not have a child, I'm going on vacation with my friends who have children, one of whom has ADHD. This book helped me understand a little more about what it means to have ADHD and how I can interact with them on a positive and understanding foundation, rather than feel frustration. Actually, this book is helping me interact with some of my adult ADHD friends as well. Highly recommend!

Accurate and Informative

This book is completely accurate in parenting ADHD children. I'm a father that experienced a child with ADHD. The challenges we face as parents are all outlined in this book. My wife and I did not have this book at the time, but if we had, combating ADHD would have been so much easier. The author explains the diagnosis, medications, behavioral problems, getting school support, and much more. I highly recommend this book if you have a child with ADHD
