È una società, la società liquida, in cui il non senso sembra talora prendere il sopravvento sulla razionalità, con irripetibili effetti comici certo, ma con conseguenze non propriamente rassicuranti. Confusione, sconnessione, profluvi di parole, spesso troppo tangenti ai luoghi comuni. "Pape Satàn, pape Satàn aleppe", diceva Dante nell'Inferno (VII, 1), tra meraviglia, dolore, ira, minaccia e forse ironia.
