perfect elements come together
a story that is so perfectly of its time it has an aura that contemporary books can't really capture. read by MLB who aside from being a great performer, was the authors son in law and probably read it to his daughter many many times. so much to this performance plus my own connecting to it as a child, playing it for my son now is a sublime experience.
