Great series but the series has a really bad habit of leaving everything as a cliffhanger. This book is a perfect example there is zero resolutions to any of issues in this series. If I had to put a name to it I'd say that this was originally meant to be a novel or book that was broken into several bite-size segments and yes I know the anime and manga but But if you read it or listen to it you can tell that was meant to be taken all in one go honest opinion If you're not already a fan wait until the entire series is done and then by the box set because it's just going to frustrate you otherwise. The narration the story everything is great except You can tell they're drawing it out for more money.

Localization inconsistencies

Translator confused 'R' and 'L' sounds in the names. Cocodoll became Cocodoor, Succulent became Securante or something like that. I guess they felt the original Japanese was too corny, but let's have accurate translations, thanks.

Great book and reading!

Overlord is always good so there’s nothing new there. But the voice acting was great too! Especially when climb had to face Sebas’ murderous intent. That scene was so detailed and climbs reactions were on point.
Oh another good one was when the fatty got his organs rearranged by Sebas. It looks like he dies right away in the anime but he wasn’t so lucky in the light novel.
Lastly I’ll add that I’m super excited for the next audiobook! The action and climactic scenes were a bit lacking in this book. But I know stuff is going down in the Kingdom next time.

Another great hit

I have been listening to these books back to back it's so far I have not found any of them lacking in terms of story, characters and action.

Another solid performance.

Apart from a few instances in which the volume had a variation, this product was yet another amazing performance.

I love this series

This is one of my all-time favorite series volume five was a little bit of a slow one for me but still good I hope audible is willing to do the entire series

Warning at the beginning was unnecessary but I get it it's for the snowflakes Other than that it was a good listen and if you've been keeping up with the Anime there's there's not much new here

No complaints, other than I want these to come out faster... Great job all around.

Excellent reader great story

I really enjoy the overlord story but the reader makes this an extremely enjoyable experience. Not like the disappointing performance in shield hero this guy reads the book in a way that inmerses you in the story.
