Storyline!!

Loved the continual storyline. The details were extravagant! Loved this book. Can’t wait for the next book

Great storyline/Whiny performance

The story was good but the narrator made the main character cry and sound whiny too much! Very annoying.

Aura’s Story

Very good continuation of the series. However, as another reviewer mentioned this book should have come with trigger warnings.

The subject matter is intense and I think it’s made even more so because of Aura’s sensibilities, but just as the previous stories in this series, it is a fast-paced, well-written coming of age tale with lots of adventure and romance.

The narrator is absolutely amazing in bringing the characters and stories to life at near perfect pitch, whether it’s a male or female’s part. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for all that I’ve mentioned.

Good till the last spell

This book keeps you on edge. Love the story line and this book series! Even though you can read as stand alone I would highly recommend reading in order.

Couldn't put it down!

I listen to books on my way to work and during my lunch breaks. it was so difficult to pause the story and go back to work! there wasn't a convenient slow spot to be found. The narrator's performance was perfect. She never broke character, and I always knew who was (or wasn't) speaking.

Great read

Definitely the darkest book of the series so far, but still a good book. I'll just say Aura was dealing with a LOT in this book. On to the next.

Another win

I love this series. This book especially feels like a “girl power anthem”. The weakest sister learns what truly makes a woman strong. This particular book needs a trigger warning for sex trafficking, rape, and being drugged. Approaching the end, the story got a little confusing, but then it corrected itself. I loved the way the story is a retelling, but a completely different tale. I can’t wait to read the next book

Nice moments

There were things that I really liked about this book but there were also some things that frustrated me. The first was this book needed a trigger warning especially because it had darker moments than the first three. There was SA mentioned. At one point a character had two different accents but the biggest frustration was when Aura was forced to return home. Her reaction to her return was much calmer than it should have been for being forced to leave her love. She wasn't even angry at her mom for refusing to help at first. Instead she just continued to live her life. Her anger didn't come until weeks later. If not for that last beautiful moment at the end I would have rated it a 3 but that moment pushed it to a 4.

Must Listen!!! This series is spell-bounding!

I can’t get enough of this series. I love every single one of the daughters of Eville books! And Jesse Vilinsky is a fantastic narrator! One always know which character is speaking and I sometimes had to remind myself that is was the same person narrating the whole book!

Narration is incredible: must read series

Narration wonderful must read series little more of a PG PG-13 series fantasy, but absolutely wonderful storyline someone use the word spellbound. I was absolutely spellbound to continue all the way through. What a fantastic read it will absolutely go on my favorites list that’s a must read series.
