I'm in charge of your indoctrination here. We may look like a local operation, but we are actually global in scope. We will attempt to auction you off to the highest bidder. Anyone who has not been sold in one week becomes a Notel Girl. I will be pimping you out to wealthy locals once you are properly trained. If you fail to perform to our satisfaction, you will be zapped.” She held up what appeared to be a flashlight, then flipped it around and pushed a button. ZAP. A loud electric spark shot out, so loud it made everyone jump. “If being stunned fails to motivate you into eager cooperation, you will be harvested for body parts.” - - - A storm was approaching. A flash of lightning lit up the sky, revealing the silhouette of the haunted-looking house up on the hill. It gave Jeanie pause. “I think this was a bad idea. It's not fair of me to bother you with my problem. I'm going to go.” She tried to pull her hand from his. He wouldn't let her..... She resisted, he punched her, then threw her over his shoulder and proceeded up the path. - - - “Hello. Funniest thing happened. That damn direction finder app. I entered the right city into the GPS but clicked on the wrong choice for the state. I was so distracted talking on my phone, I didn't realize I was driving in the wrong direction for several hours. Silly me. My car ran out of gas a few miles up the road.
