Publisher's summary

In the midst of modern chaos, do you find yourself longing for simplicity and clarity? Picture a time when our ancestors flourished, deeply intertwined with the pulse of nature. A Book That Makes You Want to Change Your Habits

This book has opened up a pathway for me to reconnect with myself through nature and being outside more often. Working from home, I often spend most of the day inside, but learning in this book how beneficial it is for your body and mind just to be outside while doing things like reading and working already has me working on my patio more often. I feel like I sleep better spending more time outside and am just excited reconnecting with the wonder of the universe by watching the stars. I didn't realize the health benefits of these things and the changes I've made already have me feeling more energized.

Words of Wisdom from Deep Within

This book is one that so many people need to hear. We have become a society that has a fancy new pill or medicine for everything in our lives. We rely on these chemically created substances for everything from our fitness to the natural processes of our bodies and even our mental and emotional well-being.
Drake Wells's sharing of insight opens our minds to another possibility. Instead of looking for the latest and greatest fix in a future bottle, maybe it's much simpler. Just maybe looking to the past is the better solution.
In our reconnection to earth we can find a better and more natural way. The earth and the outdoors provided what man needed long before medicine existed. In fact, many modern medicines were built upon what nature already provided. Wells does an amazing job of sharing with the reader a better way of finding health and happiness and I applaud him for this amazing book!

An amazing book!

Drake Wells does an amazing job of discussing what we are lacking in today's age and it's correlation to our anxiety and depression. This book discusses how we can live a healthy life without the use of modern day medicine. He thoroughly goes over the Beauty of how our ancestors lived in previous ages and correlates it into what we are missing in our lives. However, not only does he talk about what we're missing, he does a great job of explaining how to gain the wellness needed not only to survive, but how to thrive!

And a shout out real quick to Scott Mandeville for a great narration!

Just what I needed

This book is exactly what I needed. It shows how getting back in tough with nature can really help with mental health issues. It does a great job explaining how our ancestors lived closely with nature and how we've lost that connection. The tips and scientific facts are easy to understand and actually useful. It's not just about escaping modern life, but about finding balance and healing through nature. If you're looking for a way to reduce stress and feel more connected, this book is perfect.

This makes sense

What the author preaches in this book makes a lot of sense. Anxiety and depression are higher than they ever have been and we’ve become more and more dependent on technology and less in tune with nature. I’ve always seemed to feel at peace when I’m outside just enjoying the weather and now after reading this book I understand why. I’m certainly more motivated now than ever to go outside more and just breathe.
