Not what I was expecting

Like another reviewer, I thought this book would do more to lead one through the steps of meditation, instead of just telling the listener that meditation is good for one. Disappointed.

Very relaxing and informative

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Definitely yes! This audiobook is very informative and soothing to the ears. I love the narration - very clear and the words are properly enunciated emphasized.

I can compare this book to the Law of Attraction that emphasizes the importance of understanding oneself in order attain success on one's personal goals.

very relaxing

I absolutely loved this book by Sam Siv and the narration performed by Darren Roebuck. I had listened to the book while in bed one night and was so impressed. I have never listened to anything by Roebuck before. The narration was smooth, relaxing and made me want to continue listening to more after the book was over! I highly recommend this audio-book to anyone looking for a guide on meditation.

history of meditation

this book is full of information on Meditation, the book is a review of quick meditation techniques with little descriptive instructions on how to follow up with this meditation I'm sure if your looking to find a unkown type of meditation this book might help you.. but I was looking for a more simple meditation technique . I received this product for free for my unbiased review

Great beginner book for meditation.

What did you love best about Meditation: Meditation Handbook Guide?

This book is an easy to follow, great book for beginners. If you have every considered meditation this is a great place to start. It explains the history of meditation to the ways it can enrich your life. It was calming just to listen to this book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Meditation: Meditation Handbook Guide?

The author did a wonderful job of explaining what meditation is and how it’s so much more than taking time each day to sit in silence, it’s about organic living and changing your attitude on life. The author gives examples of different ways a person can meditate.

Which scene was your favorite?

The different examples given by the author were my favorite part. I have many ideas of how I can meditate and many that I wasn't aware of. I really thought that to meditate was just to sit there and clear my mind, but it's so much more and the author shows you the way.

What did you learn from Meditation: Meditation Handbook Guide that you would use in your daily life?

The author gives steps to take to create your own mediation plan and how to track your progress.

I've always thought that I wanted to learn to meditate bud wasn't sure how to go about it. In Meditation: Meditation for Beginners Book, there are comprehensive exercises that allow you to learn the basics for meditation.

RELAXING

I would recommend to to anyone that needs to relax and forget all the stresses of the world. Which is all of us. The world is crazy and we all need something to destress . This is the best way ever, no drugs or any unhealthy thing to get us later. I am so happy I have gotten and was able to find many benefits from this book. I think everyone should try meditation at least once in their life.

No How to do for beginners

What did you like best about Meditation: Meditation Handbook Guide? What did you like least?

Well the book said everything about how meditation helps, but it did not say or give proper instruction on how to start meditating for beginners and how not to lose concentration while meditating. It mainly says that meditation is good for us but it does not say's much about how a beginner should start.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

After few minutes into the book, I was dozing off and did not feel any interest in continuing to listen to the book. It took me 3-4 session to completely listen to the book.

What three words best describe Darren Roebuck’s performance?

Clear, calm but monotonous

A follow up with clear instruction and how to's for beginners would be better.

Would you listen to Meditation: Meditation Handbook Guide again? Why?

I would listen to Meditation: Meditation Handbook Guide again to help me with my steps on meditation. This audiobook is very relaxing to listen to and the information is very informative.

Have you listened to any of Darren Roebuck’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is the first time I have listened to an audiobook with a voiceover by Darren; but I enjoyed the tone that he set with this book.

This book on Meditation covers everything you can imagine. Everything from diet, thought processes and breathing are all covered.
