Publisher's summary

From Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and Amazon Bestselling Author Natasha Madison comes new enemies to lovers, forbidden, single mom, hockey romance.

Christopher
I came from the biggest hockey family in the NHL.
Records were set by my grandfather, my father, and now my brother.
I was taught to love the game, but more than that, I learned early the men you play with are your family.
You get on the ice every night and protect them, celebrate the wins, and pick each other up when you fall.
So when we lost Benji, I stepped in to help his wife and kids, but this pull I feel when it comes to them is something more than I can even understand.

Dakota
My life was perfect, until it wasn’t.
Gone was the husband I thought I knew and in his place was a stranger.
I saw him change before my eyes.
Then he was gone, leaving me and our girls alone.
I wanted nothing to do with anyone or anything that took him away from me.
But no matter how many times I’ve told his best friend I don’t need help.
He’s here doing things for us, and the worst part is, I want him to

Loved Christopher & Dakota's story

I cried, laughed, cried some more, and rejoiced at the healing HEA of this family. I love the characters -- both the extended family we've come to know & this smaller family of Christopher, Koda, Rain, & Luna. The narration by Connor Crais & Savannah Peachwood was perfect! They had a lot of characters to perform & they handled them all brilliantly. They did a wonderful job.

Sweetest ever

This was one of those emotional stories. The kind that have you crying one minute and laughing the next. Christopher and Dakota’s story truly moved me. The journey they took to get to each other was heartwarming.
I never realized how much I liked Savanna Peechwood until this story. Connor was amazing as always. I truly enjoyed this beautiful story.

Another winner!

Loved this book! It's not easy to take some of these subject matters - substance abuse, overdose, best friend's girl - and make it into a compelling story that doesn't overwhelm you with grief. But Natasha does so beautifully. It's a fabulous story with character growth that holds your interest from the first word. Narrators are top notch as usual

Beautiful Love Story 💘

To say this story is good is an understatement. I couldn't stop listening last night and had to force myself to stop at 1am because I was that addicted to every bit of this story. The heartbreak and grief from the beginning of this book grabs ahold of you and I was in tears. Those sweet baby girls not completely understanding all that is going on, and Dakota is always putting on a brave face for everyone. It truly broke my heart for all of them. Then Christopher slowly becomes the one person she can rely on without judgement and he shows up for her and Rain and Luna no questions asked.
The narration was beyond beautiful and heartfelt. Savannah Peachwood as Dakota is flawless and so engaging as the strong, beautiful and loving mother she is. Connor Crais as Christopher is riveting. He becomes such a pivotal part of their lives over time, and the emotions are felt as you listen to him. Both Savannah and Connor had me in tears with their performances and I loved it.

Second Chance Widow

When Koda’s husband, Benji, dies from an overdose, she was upset but not for the fact he chose drugs over her and their girls but because he never tried to fix his problem. He knew he cheated and was acting weird but when he overdosed she was so mad!

Christopher was not only Benji’s teammate but his best friend. He didn’t realize Benji’s problem was so bad so when he found out he was gone, he knew he had to step up for the girls and Koda.

Koda didn’t want the help. She was very strong willed and stubborn. She has raised them solo for a long time and her focus was her mental health and the girls having a strong barrier around them. She slowly let down her guard with Christopher. When they had real honest talks, they slowly came together.

The love and strength Christopher gave to the girls and Koda made him instantly one of my absolute favorite Stone men. Loved this story and the narrators were sooo freaking good!

Never disappoints

It’s low on drama between the MCs. Most of it was in the beginning and sometimes you just need that kind of story.

Beautiful Love Story

I absolutely loved listening to Meant for Her written by Natasha Madison whose terrific storytelling gave me all the feels. Christopher and Dakota’s story was such an emotional one from beginning to end and his actions showed that he was meant for her and her two daughters, Rain and Luna. I adored these two and their bond with Christopher melted my heart. I enjoyed how Christopher and Dakota’s relationship developed throughout this book as they work through their feelings regarding Benji’s death, falling in love and getting their well-deserved HEA. Narrators Connor Crais and Savannah Peachwood did an amazing job bringing this story to life in every way and I loved every minute of it. I have already re-listened to this audiobook a few times already and has become one of my favorite.
