La precipitación de los sueños es, a su vez, metafórica. Y quien la domina como ninguno, así como a las figuras de lenguaje y los giros de la imaginación, es Gerardo Brauer, pronto a leerlos usted. A mí me ha abierto la interpretación de mis sueños a partir de sublimes versos. Si el cuerpo parece inerte, apenas moviéndose durante la noche, la mente trabaja en su labor más ardua, y es sumergirse hasta lo más profundo de nuestro interior. Y al día siguiente, emerger al exterior que nos depara sorpresas, la mayor de todas, como versa el autor: despertar. Pero afrontaremos mejor el día desde el alba hasta el atardecer y la inminente noche, si nos hemos fortalecido durante el sueño.
Muy relacionada la creatividad, la nostalgia y la melancolía con el sueño que se niega a dormir: y es la ensoñación. La considero el estado más en comunión con el alma. Muchas de las grandes proezas de la humanidad han sido dictadas desde el sueño. Más allá de la interpretación psiconírica, los versos nos vinculan con el alma por la polifonía y trasmisión simbólica de la realidad. Es entonces que el idioma del alma es la poesía y la fuente de la misma: el sueño. El autor es un poeta con la capacidad de erigir ingentes universos en cada estrofa, y luego en su conjunto: habernos compartido otro universo. Un universo inimaginable hasta entonces para cualquier creador, imperceptible para el científico.
Lo que es insondable para la conciencia, sólo es perceptible a través de la ensoñación: ese estado sublime donde alma y sueño se confabularon previamente. Así me he explicado la razón de la profusa creatividad de un poeta de la talla del pronto a leer por usted. Pero también de quienes han hecho de la poética de la ensoñación, su prolija vida de creaciones.
He llegado a la conclusión de que el sueño es un cúmulo de imaginación necesaria a desfogarse y no solamente es una facultad de formar imágenes. El sueño se deforma, pues la percepción siempre es consciente, y sería entonces una manera de liberarnos de las imágenes cotidianas por otras sustanciales para el ánima. Los versos del presente libro crean los senderos rumbo al sueño que no reconoce actos ni respeta formas, y esto lo convierte en un detonante para despertar con un nuevo mundo listo a reinventarse. Si la poesía es creación, leer auténticos versos es una forma de recrear esa imaginación soñadora, pues es una imaginación sin imágenes, y todas ellas son una sola imagen dentro del sueño. Los versos nos permiten tender nuestras propias vías entre el sueño, la vigilia y el amanecer. Usted, lector próximo de versos que jamás olvidará, ha aspirado a ese estado sublime de la ensoñación, que nos da una tregua física y mental. Las vías, las veredas para lograrlo, son los versos que crean imágenes que jamás hubiéramos imaginado. La conciencia es un devenir del día con día que hace posible vigorizar nuestra psiquis, pero por sí sola no puede resolver los misterios hasta llegada la noche cuando ya los sentidos son una polifonía poética. Debemos percibirlo como la creación de un solo impulso, y es entonces que reviviremos todos nuestros impulsos del día, y se aletargarán durante la noche. Es cuando los fenómenos de la inspiración dejan de serlo y se convierten en la creación misma. La ensoñación, ese estado detonante de la poesía, a diferencia del sueño, no se puede abordar sin ella. Hay que escribirla removiendo todos nuestros impulsos y emociones.
De lo contrario, caemos en los abismos de la prosa que pretende engañar contener una carga imaginativa y de trasformación de lenguaje. No se requiere ser crítico literario para quedar pasmado ante los ingentes versos del presente libro. Y me hago la pregunta de cómo un hombre puede, a pesar de la vida, convertirse en poeta.
