Brilliant
I can see why Lawrence Block won so many awards for his writing but I’m really certain he did not win any for his narrating. After a few of these Matthew Scudder stories, however, Block begins to grow on you

I love reading Matthew Scudder books but this one was not enjoyable. and the author should NEVER read his own work!
