1964 wurde "Kater Mikesch" das erste Mal von der "Augsburger Puppenkiste" in Schwarzweiß verfilmt; 1985 folgte dann die Adaption in Farbe.
Dass Christian Tramitz ein hochkomisches Talent hat, durfte er schon in Kinoknallern wie "Der Schuh des Manitu", "(T)raumschiff Surprise Periode 1" oder "Keinohrhasen" unter Beweis stellen - eine ideale Voraussetzung Mikesch und seinen Freunden putzig Leben einzuhauchen.
