Der Kalif und sein Großwesir Mansor können der Versuchung nicht widerstehen, ein Zauberpulver auszuprobieren, das ihnen verspricht, sich in jedes beliebige Tier verwandeln zu können. Tatsächlich gelingt es ihnen, sich in 2 Störche zu verzaubern, doch leider schaffen sie es nicht, wieder menschliche Gestalt anzunehmen, weil sie das entsprechende Kennwort vergessen haben. Umso größer ist ihre Verzweiflung, als sie erkennen müssen, dass der böse Zauberer Kaschnur hinter diesem Unglück steckt, der mithilfe dieses Tricks seinen Sohn zum neuen Kalifen machen will. Gemeinsam mit Doc Croc und Yoyo begeben sie sich zu den Ruinen eines alten Schlosses, wo sie den bösen Zauberer vermuten, um ihm das Zauberwort zu entlocken.
