Adventure, Action, and Awesome Characters!

The city of EarthWorks and beyond are in chaos now that the Demons have made their presence known. Disputes have created confusion and suspicion between the Scathians, Orcs, and Atlanteans. Each has their own reason for seeking the Eye of Atlantia. Each group has its own outcome in mind when they obtain the powerful artifact; some are reasonable, but one has far more selfish and evil plans than the others. Once again, Nickle must join together with others to stop the misuse of the relic.

Sterling Nixon, the author of this series, has once again excelled at weaving a magical story full of adventure, action, and fantasy. His development of characters and continuity in the plot line is smooth and flawless. In addition, with each plot twist and the addition of new characters, one would worry the plot of the series might become lost. No need to worry as a master craftsman of words, Nixon keeps everything moving forward concisely. The use of dialogue is realistic and satisfying. While the characters change slightly depending on their situation, the basic connection the audience has with Nickle Brickle’Bee and his group remains tightly connected.

The narrator, Jason Finch is awesome! His performance allows the listener to connect with the characters and easily follow the story. Finch’s energy keeps the story moving at a steady pace and his pauses are timed perfectly to accentuate the situation. I enjoy listening to his voice.

With each book, Sterling Nixon holds the listeners spellbound with plot twists and action! I love how he brings different groups - Elves, Orcs, and more together in this riveting series.

Oh crap, I’m hooked

I held off getting into the series for a long time thinking it was too much of a kids book. Now I’m hooked and can’t wait for the next one!
