Christian D. Larson (1874-1962) fu un esponente e insegnante del Nuovo Pensiero nonché un prolifico autore di opere di spiritualità. Di origine norvegese, Larson nacque in Iowa. Poco più che ventenne si interessò agli insegnamenti di scienza della mente di Helen Wilmans, Henry Wood e Charles Brodie Patterson.
Nel settembre del 1901 cominciò a pubblicare il periodico Eternal Progress che fu, per diversi anni, una delle principali riviste sul Nuovo Pensiero, arrivando a una tiratura di oltre un quarto di milione di copie. Larson, nel corso degli anni Venti e Trenta del 1900, tenne numerose conferenze e in seguito divenne presidente onorario della International New Thought Alliance.
