Best adult fantasy series ever!!
I can't say enough about this series, the characters, and relationships between them had me so invested! The plot was so detailed and easy to follow, with no holes! Olivia's writing is fantastic for adults- such and underrated series!!

decent series inconsistent performances
My main issue is just that the two actors haven't been instructed on how to pronounce names or the kind of accents characters have. They pronounce some names completely differently. And certain characters that were introduced with accents have no trace with the second actor. It's very distracting and just irksome.

And Now I’m Hooked
Look, I almost didn’t read this book because book 1 was so slow and Fallon is insufferable and irrational. Let’s be real, she’s unreasonable and stubborn for the first half of this book, but that is to be expected based on her upbringing. She’s also still naive and dense. At times, I wanted to shake her up but I love this world and story so much, I can get past Fallon. Or forgive her. I hope she grows in the next installment. I hope she becomes the woman worthy of being a crow. Olivia has not disappointed me yet, so there’s hope. Overall, book 2 was remarkable and I can’t wait to see how this story ends.

Adventure
Fallon’s great adventures continue, so does her stubbornness.
I wanted to smack her so many times, for her stubbornness, & ignorance.
I also laughed out loud. We still get all the snarky banter & then some.
And the eels 😂🤣
Lore is whole, & Dante wears the crown, but what happens when alliances are fraught & friendships tested?
Will Fallon’s stubbornness doom them or save them?

EXCUSE ME WHILE I SCREAM AHHH
First off, this book was perfect. It had heartache, laughter, spice and one hell of a twist. I need book 3 more than I need air. This series is definitely going to be in my top 10 favorites. Also just saying, I wouldn’t mind finding Lore’s eel 😏

Book 2 worth getting thru Book 1
I barely made it through the first book but the second makes it all worth it. Strong writing, love scenes are worth the wait, love the friendships and laughed out loud at times (a good kind of laughter that is rare in these books. I hate having to wait for Book 3!!! When will the audiobook come out?
One more question: what’s up with Olivia King doing all the voices until some strange man voices Lor in both Epilogues?? I don’t get it.
