Awesome Paranormal Fantasy!!
This is a paranormal fantasy that includes all your standard fantastic creatures: wolves, witches, vampires, mages, ghosts and sorcerers. All together in a realistic environment that pulls you in from the first book. This isn't the conclusion to the series and I look forward to Lisa Edmonds next release.

Major character developments
If you have not read this series, do yourself a favor and start with Hearth of Malice. This is one of the best UF series being written these days.
This book introduced new types of magic, deepened our understanding of multiple characters and led to great personal growth for the main character. I was hooked from the first line all the way through the end. It also sets up several interesting avenues for future books. I can't wait to see what this author has in store for us.

Tired of the vampires
Im tired of the vampires and how the heroine caters to them and refuses to see how bad they are. They are as bad as her grandfather but yet she sees no problem getting into bed with them. This takes away from the story.
