Publisher's summary

It was only supposed to be one time. But that red-hot one-night stand from the party? The sexy man in the suit who gave me more Os in a few hours than I've had in a year? Turns out my charming British stranger is keeping a little secret.

He's as much of a whiz in the kitchen as he is in the bedroom, and soon, we'll be going head-to-head in NYC's biggest bake-off. My one-time lover is now my enemy. I vow to loathe him for all eternity, though that would be easier if I wasn't dying to get naked with him again. But the more I learn more about my rival, the more I suspect he just might be everything I've wanted...if only I knew how to let him in....

A deliciously sexy stand-alone romance narrated by Shane East and Lili Valente!

Gigi and West are perfection

A book written by two of my favorite authors? Sign me up, baby! They delivered an amazing, funny, lovable, sweet and yet so steamy. I don’t think I’ve read a couple so compatible, they complement each other perfectly and their development to love made them a favorite of mine, West and Gigi totally stole my heart. They’ve met in a Rubik’s cube competition and during the getting to know each other and find out they had a lot chemistry, bonding through food and board games, they embarked in a steamy relationship. Only, both were super focused on their business, she had a pie shop and he had a tea shop. Oh did I forget to say he was British? Swoon. Over some miscommunications, they spent a little time butting heads, because now they are competing against each other in a baking contest!

I loved everything about the contest and how they upgraded the meaning of a supportive and competitive couple. Other than West being super dirty talker and both liking some kinks, what I liked the most was how loyal they were for their family. If you didn’t notice, I’m obsessed by this adorable couple. I started this book with a big smile and ended with an even bigger smile and heart! What made everything so much better? The audiobook! English accent by Shane East, check! Lili Valente’s amazing voice bringing a lot of fun to Gigi, also check! I honestly ate this story with a spoon and honestly could read and listen to them for a long time.

Not looking for love is a great way to find it.

West and Gigi meet at a nerdy game night. Their chemistry is immediate, and they embark on an epic one night stand. Gigi is a baker who makes the best pies, and other desserts. West is a businessman, but he also has some baking skills of his own. Gigi is so drawn to the hot, dirty talking British stud, and West is just as taken w/Gigi's beautiful personality, and her skill at various games. One night isn't enough for either, so they plan for another date, but when Gigi finds out West is the enemy, she's pissed!

Things get really interesting when they both enter the same dessert contest. And West and Gigi can't keep their hands off each other. They had the sweetest, and dirtiest courtship. Both having past relationships that made them steer clear of romantic entanglements. Both successful in their professional lives, that was enough for them. Until it wasn't. I loved how you got to see their hearts open up like a caterpillar transforming into a stunning butterfly. It was slow, but so beautiful to see (ok, listen). But the caterpillar and butterfly are quite filthy, and are pretty good w/the dirty talk. Oh, and there's a library! A sexy AF library!

Lauren and Lili are a phenomenal team, and they need to keep writing books together. Having read their books for years, their styles perfectly complement one another. I wish I could live in their creative brains for a few days, to see how they make the donuts.

Lili and Shane are absolutely swoony w/their narration!

Sweet and sexy

This book is an absolutely decadent delight! Lili Valente and Lauren Blakely have crafted a sweet, sexy and fun romance. I was fortunate enough to have both an ALC and an ARC and both were simply phenomenal! This book had me laughing, smiling, swooning and fanning myself-repeatedly. These authors are magical together.

I could see a lot of myself in Gigi. She is smart, loyal, confident and fun. Having read Good With His Hands (you don't have to read that to enjoy this) I already knew I liked her. But it was so interesting to get to know more of her. She's like her desserts-sweet and sassy and I am her biggest fan!

West won me over the moment we met him. I absolutely adored him. He is the total package; sweet, loyal, sexy and kind. He is family oriented as well and that just put a smile on my face. I fell hard and fast for him-and have zero regrets.

These two together are a whole new level relationship wise. They have so much chemistry and just WORK so well together; it was an utter delight to see them fall for one another. They have some scorchingly hot sexy times as well-prepare yourself with fans and batteries, friends, you'll need them. I loved how they supported each other outside of the bedroom as well. I believed in these two.

The writing here was seamless-you would never know this was cowritten. I LOVED all of the supporting characters and all of the little Easter eggs these authors give us. The pacing was spot on and just worked so well.

This book is hot, sexy and FUN. I loved reading it and know I'll read it again. The audio? PERFECTION. Shane East and Lili Valente breathe such life into these characters. It was delightful to listen to. I would highly recommend this book!

Fun & Sexy

I love West and Gigi, they has amazing chemistry from the moment they met even after they realized they had competing businesses and would be competing against each other in a baking competition. I love how they nerd out over games and they had so much fun banter. Their story was a sexy and fun and you can’t help but smile from beginning to end. Lili and Shane’s narration made the story even better. This will be a repeat listen for sure.

Delicious Rivals-to-Lovers Romance!

Good to Be Bad has the perfect recipe for a delicious rivals-to-lovers romance! It is the perfect blend of humor, heart, and sizzling hot passion! Gigi and West are so perfect for each other. They meet at a gaming competition, being attracted at first sight, but then bonding over their love of games and competition. They have one night of explosive passion, not expecting anything more. But they both can't stop thinking of the other, until Gigi discovers that West is her bakery's new rival, not only across the street, but in the local Bake-off competition that she is desperate to win. They both have their reasons why they want to win, but even that isn't enough to break their undeniable connection and explosive chemistry. This story was so much fun, and was so clever. I loved the way Gigi and West's relationship evolved. From the way they challenged each other that grew into unconditional support, to their witty banter, and their sizzling chemistry made them so perfect together. I also loved the competition and the twists and turns this story took. I especially loved the ending, along with the purrfect epilogue!
This story was made completely addictive by Lili Valente and Shane East 's amazing narration! They were superb as Gigi and West as they brought the fun and flirty couple to life. I easily felt all the fun, heartbreak, joy, passion, and love these characters felt. I loved both their deliveries as they made this fun, emotional and steamy romance pure perfection!

Great insta-love romance with fun characters

Loved this insta-love story from Lili Valente and Lauren Blakely. Good to Be Bad is simply hours of hot awesomeness that leaves you craving baked goods and lovin.

Gigi and West were both so adorable to this board-game loving reading. While I may not be able to solve a Rubix Cube quite as quickly as them, I share their love of competitive trivia, Monopoly and Scrabble, so I connected with them right away, and got a good chuckle at the seriousness with which they take their games. Kindred spirits for sure.

Great writing, made all the better by fantastic narration by Lili Valente and Shane East. I could listen to the two of them narrate for days. As a matter of fact, I often do! They are two of my favorite narrators, and I can always count on them to deliver a performance that treats the written words with the reverence that they deserve, enhancing the experience but not eclipsing the quality of the writing.

A truly enjoyable listen with a hint of naughty, a hint of fun, a cup of tea, and lots of sweet treats.

What a great mixture of fluffy sweet and steaming hot! I really enjoyed these characters and how much they had in common. It made for a great story line with all the competitiveness, board games and nerdy fun! And as always one of my favorite things about these authors is the low angst and drama. These books always leave me feeling happy in the end. I was a little surprised at how steamy this book was, I mean I expect steam but this was more than normal I think which was a great!

Shane & Lili did a great job narrating as always!

Sweet, Sexy, and Hot!

Good To Be Bad is the newest collaboration between Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente. These two ladies can surely write a wonderful and fun story while combining it with a lot of dirty-talk and sexy hot times between-the-sheets.
Gigi James recently took over the family pie business and is totally in love with being the new owner of Sweetie Pie’s Pie Shop. Gigi is beautiful, smart, with a pension for board games and loves a bit of kink in the bedroom. Weston/West Byrun has recently moved to the states with his sister to open a tea and sweets shop featuring English tea and traditional English sweet treats. The location of this new endeavor of West’s is right across the street from Gigi’s pie shop. I completely loved this story. I love the writing styles of these two ladies. The between-the-sheets action in this story is so HOT, like 6 flames hot! If you like a dirty-talking British hero then ladies you will not be disappointed. West is amazing with the dirty talk and brings a bit of kink to the bedroom. Did I mention that Weston is British? Oh, ladies West certainly is British and the amazingly hot, sexy, and smooth voice of Shane East brings West to life. I have heard Shane East in multiple audiobooks for multiple authors and am never disappointed. Lili Valente brings Gigi to life with her very talented narration abilities. These two narrators do an amazing job of bringing this story to life. I am so amazed how narrators can either be “just” a reader/narrator of a story which is quite dull or you can have narrators such as Shane East and Lili Valente who have the capability of bringing such passion and emotion to life with just their voice. I just love how clearly the story plays in my mind. I can feel the passion and emotion just by listening to these two narrators. I also love that the story is told in dual POV’s.No matter your choice of how you experience this story, ebook, paperback, or audiobook, you will love West and Gigi. These two ladies definitely know how to bring passion, emotion, and super HOT and sexy between-the-sheets action to life. So very very good and HOT! Ladies, a British hero, what else is there left to say except that your ears will experience multiple O’s with Too Good To Be Bad by Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente. I received an ARC/ALC in exchange for an honest review. *****

Enjoyed West & Gigi

It took me a while to get into this one but once I finally did, I couldn’t hit pause. I absolutely loved Shane East in this but for some reason I just couldn’t get into Lili Valente’s narration. It seemed too fast. But about halfway through I got used to it enough to really enjoy the book.

I enjoyed the baking contest aspect of this book. I love Food Network shows and this gave me that feel. I liked the connection that Gigi and West had. I was glad that even though she saw him as the enemy in the beginning, that quickly changed as did their relationship.

West was just a fantastic hero and I adored him. Really would love for his sister to get a book.

Sooo good!

I can't say enough good things about this book. I love Gigi's character and Lili Valente did an awesome job reading her part. I also enjoyed the conflict that was not directly between the antagonists, but rather an internal struggle that Gigi worked through with her family. Sometimes the tension between lovers is a bit more stressful than I want in a romance, even when I know it'll work out in the end. Shane East also did a phenomenal job as West (you are my favorite sexy Brit). Lauren and Lili, beautiful work. Thank you for sharing your gift with the world.
