Not my fav but so so
I like this author so I was very excited for this book. I did like it but just not my fav when it comes to this author. Very classic Feeney book were two things that make no since comes together at the end.

Predictable with underwhelming plot/characters
Almost couldn’t finish this one. Had to bribe myself with the promise of the new Robert Galbraith book…finally finished yesterday and honestly feel like my time was wasted. Had potential to be much better, but the “big twist” at the end simply wasn’t worth waiting for. Contrived and too many perspective changes where the story is being told by one character, only to suddenly shift to a different one right as the details are falling into place. Normally that type of “hook” makes you want to keep reading on, but in this case it just made you want to walk away.

Great book

Lots of twists
There were definitely lots of twists in this story but they all come together at the end. The story held my interest and there were definite subtle clues about the characters along the way. This is what I love about Alice Feeney’s book. The narration was spot on!

Interesting story
