Mary Monroe does it again!

Mary Monroe is by far my favorite author! Whether it is a period setting or current setting, Mary Monroe brings life to human interactions, emotions and social issues. Her dialogue is always fitting and Her characters are always easy to connect with. She is amazing and a true literary jewel.

I thoroughly enjoy this book from the story to the very engaging narrator!!! I was all in. Bravo!

I been reading Mary Monroe books for almost 20 years and I just love her books! Them twins had me cracking up!!!

Twist at the end!

It’s crazy how Fiona always said her husband was dull and not smart, but it was a twist that he knew about her affair and that Leona was posing as her. Mary Monroe wrote another great book!

Could Nit Stop Listening

Thus book was so good. I finished it in two days. Such a good listen. Keep your interest the entire book.

WOW!!!

I have always been a fan of Mary Monroe's books. And she didn't disappoint with this one. Wow. This book was so good; I hated when I had to stop listening. And couldn't wait to get back to it. My emotions were up and down. But I enjoyed every minute of this book. And can't wait until her next book. 😁

Mary does it again!

Loved everything about this book. Held my attention from beginning to end. A suspenseful historical novel that did not disappoint!

Engaging from the first page

I absolutely love all of the stories coming out of Lexington, Alabama, but this one is the best. From the very first page, captivating, unexpected twist and turns. Looking forward to MM's next novel in this collection.

SOMEBODY PASS ME A MENTHOL!!!!

I was waiting for this book to drop like a kid waiting for Christmas, and it was well worth the wait!! My nerves were bad throughout the entire book (which a good & a bad thing lol). That means the book is just that good, but a shame that I get so engrossed in it LOL.
Since book three ended with a nice & complete closure, I couldn't wait to see who & what this book would be about from the small town. Now I'm hoping for a part 5!!
I got confused with who was who around chapter 7, and started the book completely over LBVS. I don't know how to give my review without giving a spoiler, but the best friend worked ALL of my nerves. Also, secrets are way more harmful & impactful than we realize. It makes you wonder about other identical twins now!!
Mary Monroe did not disappoint with this one at all!!!
