Jeg ville uden tøven inkludere Det store stilehæfte i en kanon over den vigtigste europæiske litteratur fra efter Anden Verdenskrig. Romanen rammer stadig lige hårdt, og nu er det tid til, at en ny generation kan blive påvirket.
