Hard to understand or comprehend how one person can encompass as much talent as Ms Ward…

Amazing book
Extremely light how detailed this book was I like the fast pace and movement of this book the book continued to move forward and capturing all the little details for such a short novel I would highly would recommend

Great little novella
My only complaint was that there was no female narrator. The narrator did a nice job but I’d prefer a female narrator also.

Loved it!
Beautiful love story! Silas and Ivie were terrific together. It was a pleasure to see Havers in a better light. I thoroughly enjoy reading stories about non-brotherhood characters. It enriches the entire series for me.

An emotional rollercoaster!
This is an aside from the usual BDB characters and adventures. The story involves 2 new characters and a different but very real, very poignant story that will make you laugh and cry. It's totally worth the listen, but do be prepared for an emotional rollercoaster with no cliffhangers.
My hope is that we will see some of these characters again in the BDB world, for other adventures.
This author weaves stories so incredible that I often feel like this other race of people really exists and that I somehow...KNOW them.

because J R Ward drew me in as usual. I got my happy ending though.
