When we live with unresolved anger or hurt, the result is nearly always bitterness, broken relationships, and unhealthy behaviors. Unforgiveness not only sabotages our interactions with those around us, it impedes our own spiritual growth and inner peace. And it can happen to anyone. In her most vulnerable writing yet, Ruth Graham reveals how a visit to Angola Prison inspired her to release the unforgiveness lurking in her own heart - toward others, herself, and even her heavenly Father and her earthly father, evangelist Billy Graham.

There are many things that seem normal or average today that at one point in time seemed absolutely crazy. Smartphones, Wi-Fi, and even the electric light bulb were all groundbreaking, history-making inventions that started out as crazy ideas. Our see-it-to-believe-it generation tends to have a hard time exercising true faith - one that steps out, takes action, and sees mountain-moving results. Many of us would rather play it safe and stand on the sidelines, but it’s crazy faith that helps us see God move and reveals His promises.

Are you still playing a role you learned in childhood to please others, such as the Good Girl/Boy, the Overachiever, or the Helper? Though these kinds of roles may have gained us attention and affection, they prohibited us from becoming our true selves. People-pleasing—putting others ahead of ourselves to avoid something negative or to get something we want or need—runs rampant in our society. Saying yes when we should say no leaves us stuck in frustrating patterns.

GOD'S PERFECT TIMING & DIVINE ACCELERATION
I had begun my day DESIRING to be on God’s Path for me and not my own. I was seeking a Life Changing Encounter, and when I went to my daily word from the You Version Bible app, I found the RHEMA from Toni Collier. As I gleaned from the couple minutes, the mention of her being a Founder of Broken Crayons Still Color peaked my interest, and as I searched for it, I also came upon this title. immediately, I knew that it was not an impulse investment. I could NOT pull myself away too long from continuing to listen. i listened to some chapters twice and the prayers were on REPEAT! God SET ME UP to BE IN POSITION TO BE RECEPTIVE, READY, and RADICALIZED to RUN for HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, once and for all. I am NOT turning back. I, ViettaAnn, AM COMMITTED TO CHRIST despite the pain I have lived through or caused duw ro not being healed. I am CHASING AFTER my CREATOR, BIG BROTHER YESHUA HAMASHIACH and PRECIOUS GUIDE/COMFORTER the HOLY SPIRIT ("Sarayu") with ALL I HAVE because MY HEALING is IN THE MAKING💯💥💥💥💯🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❣️ God has Blessed You, Toni, to be a Blessing ro so many, of whom I and my house of 4 offspring - Cristiánn Ai, Yasmín Azusa, Orlando E. Akeno, and Otoniel I. Akio - as well as ALL that I love and am called to minister to or who will minister to me. I have so much welled up inside of me. I have cried, laughed, mulled over thoughts. I look forward to reviewing my listening process this week and taking notes. Okay, for now I will shut of my faucet. I will pray for God's continued work in every facet of your life. Thank you. Merci beaucoup. Muchas gracias. Domo arigatou gozaimasu (Japanese). 🌺

What a God-Driven inspirational book!
Anyone who has gone through a divorce and trauma, I recommend 100%. I just recently got divorced from a domestic violence partner. This book helped me navigate trapped feelings: feelings of being alone, confused, and afraid. 100% recommend!

Broken is brave is beautiful
I definitely recommend this book to anyone searching for encouragement in their broken, a light in their dark. It was insightful hearing Collier’s perspective on gratitude without minimizing or ignoring our hurts and struggles.
