Publisher's summary

Summer is ending in County Cork, Ireland, and with it the tourist season. Expat Maura Donovan is determined to keep Sullivan's Pub in the black as the days grow shorter - but how? When she hears that the place was once a hot spot for Irish musicians who'd come play in the back room, she wonders if bringing back live music might be Sullivan's salvation.

As word gets out, legendary musicians begin to appear at the pub, and the first impromptu jam session brings in scores of music lovers. But things hit a sour note when Maura finds a dead musician in the back room the next morning. With a slew of potential suspects, it's going to take more than a pint and a good think to force a murderer to face the music.

It Makes Me Want A Pint

Any additional comments?

There is not wall to wall action but there are characters that you find yourself caring about.

Another well done audiobook

This is a great series. Within a few pages you feel like you're actually in Ireland and are friends with all the residents. Now I'm looking forward to the next in the series.

An interesting, albeit obvious, setup for another sequel

This was a pleasant enough read, though I don't feel it was as strong as the second book. However, it gave some new glimpses into the pub itself, refreshing looks at some of the earlier characters, and, I feel, a lot of promise for future volumes.

Amy Rubinate is inhabiting the characters And the various accents much more comfortably with each book. I look forward to her work in the future.

too much emphasis on words

Almost had to put this one down. The performers emphasis at the end of sentences was unnecessary and distracting.

Great series!

I thought that the books flowed very well from one to the other all the way to the current book. The series has a lot of charm and the narrator added to the charm! I would recommend the series to anyone who loves a good cozy mystery! So, grab your pint or a good strong cup of Irish tea and sit back and enjoy!
