Publisher's summary

Along Comes the Association is the story of how Russ Giguere and his fellow band members in the legendary and influential pop group The Association came together to create unparalleled music, unique to the time and place, and never again to be repeated. Yes, there were drugs, and there were women, such as the lovely Linda Ronstadt and Helen Mirren, but it was the '60s, after all. In listening to Along Comes the Association, you are transported back in time to post-1963 America. Go on, try to resist the urge to roll one while floating on the musical cloud of melodic rock that Russ Giguere and his band of melodic troubadours popularized and that we still cherish to this day....

Long overdue!!

I love the Association!! I put them at the same level as Brian Wilson's Beach Boys, and they should be in the RRHOF!! I learned so much from this audiobook! Russ Giguere is a living legend in the same league as Brian Wilson, and Paul Stanley (yes, I love KISS too, and gained even more respect for Paul after learning he is a fan!) Thank you Russ for sharing this great story!!!

Deep cuts

Seldom does this type of book go as deep and detailed as Giguere does in the chronical of a legendary musical phenonomon. if you love music history here's an example of the best.

Along Comes The Association and we Cherish it

I have a whole new appreciation for the group, what they went through making it and the music they gave us. An incredible story of a band that had staying power.
