Love It!!!

Witty Romance
This book will keep you laughing and/or smiling. Mostly it’s a Hallmark like story for adults only in some parts (mostly at the end), even though from the beginning you will have the feeling what will happen at the end the story takes curves as all good ones do and at that point you will say, I didn’t see that coming 😂

I could've really enjoyed this...
The story line in and of itself was enjoyable. I actually think I might've appreciated the plot and characters if it weren't for a few key disturbing elements. First of all, if this "Rom Com" is geared for the younger generation, it's a sad reflection of said generation. In an otherwise sweet story, the crude and graphic sexual encounters hit like a baseball bat to the knees- painful and unnecessary. If this "art" mirrors life, it speaks VOLUMES to why the world is such a mess. Crude, crass, amoral... so sad, really. I listened to the end to give it every opportunity to redeem itself, but in addition to the crude language, the "Declan" voicing made him sound uncharacteristically... stupid?? His character otherwise wasn't. Also unnecessary to make him sound so. I don't think I will listen to more from this author.
