Luke Beckett, the Marquess of Downshire, was content running his stud farm in solitude, far from the scheming of the devious women of Society. Action packed 4th book in series
Still the same plot foundation for the couple, but the additional details to the series plot really are well placed. Just like in the other books, the heroine is strong-willed and stubborn while being insecure and feeling the need to prove herself in the most unsafe manner possible. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed it. Even with the virtual voice.

virtual voice
I really didn't mind the virtual voice. this voice was better than some of the actual narrators. The voice did have an English accent however, and most of the story was in Scotland. some of the characters should have had a Scottish accent. it would also have been interesting if both male and female voices were different parts of the story. I've listed four of the stories in this series and I have found that the story of the French spies against the English more interesting than the romance.

The story line was awesome I laughed and cried. I do not like the virtual voice. There is no character or emotion while it is read.

Regency women
The story kept my interest. I enjoyed the characters and the spying that was interwoven with the romance. It was a good read. I got a kick out of the computer miss pronouncing two or three words but other than that, I really just enjoyed the story.

Enjoyed story
enjoyed the story. Love a good romance intertwined with espionage. The narration is awful. Monotone and the miss pronouncing is so distracting.
