Publisher's summary

Peter Roughtuff now has a home, a brewery, and enough gold in the bank to finally relax.

With the events of last year behind him, he can get down to what really matters – brewing. When he’s not fending off horrors like tax auditors, belligerent goats, or gnomish corporate ninjas, that is!

Join Pete and the rest of the Thirsty Goat family as they throw themselves into preparations to win the biggest contest of their lives. With the future of the True Brew, and a bet with the God Barck on the line, Pete is going to do whatever it takes to become the best brewer in all of Minnova!

Book 2 of a Cozy Fantasy Series filled with love, laughter, epic fantasy, and a little melancholy. Beers & Beards balances epic fantasy & slice-of-life with charm aplenty and a charisma score high enough to make a bard blush. A good continuation.

I appreciate the continued dedication to keeping the series cozy and light-hearted. There was a small bit more conflict/violence in this book but most of that is because Bailyn is now an adventurer. The less direct godly involvement/POV the better in my mind so that was appreciated as well. If you enjoyed the first book you'll like this one as it's more of the same. The relative quick second release was nice but hope the author doesn't rush to get books out and keep to the standard he has set with quality. The pace was comfortable and didn't lag or rush although some will probably say it's slow. This is a slow burn, heartwarming series though so their opinions would be moot. A lot less emphasis on our MC's abilities and stats worked out nicely. To be honest the series might be better out without a game system anyways.

Great performance and another enjoyable story

Best kind of cross between slice of life and LitRPG. You should pick this one up.

Like a warm hug

Good people, having a good time, in an interesting setting. Makes me think of LG Estrella and Drew Hayes, but with lighter stakes.

Great Narrator and Story

Always a joy and immediately want the next one. The Narrator kills it and makes every voice stand out.

Beer Nuts

Another perfect addition to my favorite ko(o)zie fantasy beer series. Its got jokes, bad puns, and even up to date references some kids may understand! And so much more. I can't wait for the next installment. This was also the perfect repreive from my binge of heavier more violent litrpg novels.

Funny second installment in the series.

The story picks up with Peter and crew getting into and out of hijinks. I enjoyed the story and the narrator does a good job. I hate the singing portion of this audio book, thankfully you can fast forward through it.
