それに伴い、メンタル疾患への理解も進んできたように思います。
しかしそれに対して統合失調症の場合はまだまだ差別的な見方や偏見などが拭えないように感じています。
そこで、30年間に渡って統合失調症と付き合い続けてきた筆者の体験を赤裸々に記し、一冊にまとめました。
統合失調症は怖い病気ではないこと、100人に1人が発症する身近な病気であることを、多くの方に知ってもらえる機会となれば幸いです。
周囲の人や社会全体の理解が進むことで、この病気への適切な向き合い方も変わるのではないかと思います。
