Not up to her usual.

This was not up to her usual story, it was very slow. Most of the story was about the relationship between the 2 main characters, very little action.

Kind of a let down

As arrogant as Cavanaugh is, he at least has a personality, Kim??
Not your best in any category. I’d return it if I could return an already read book.

I enjoyed the storyline of this book, but the narration was a bit overplayed. too fake for the story to be as interesting as it was.

Not able to finish it

I was unable to finish this book. It must be an earlier work of hers. Predictable and unable to hold my interest. Sorry I bought it.

So glad it’s over

I love Jane Ann Krentz, but this book was bad. From the beginning narration to the last sentence, I don’t know what she was thinking when she wrote it. It must’ve been a very early work. I’m sorry, but it was just difficult to finish. I wish I had passed it up. Definitely was not worth the credit. I wish I could get those hours back, but once I start some thing, I have a horrible need to finish it.

She will remain one of my favorite authors, and I look forward to reading other works of hers in the future.

What an arrogant pig

This is what I thought about the “hero” all the way through the book. I would have kicked this guy to the curb by chapter 3. This is obviously one of Krentz’s early works. I don’t recommend it unless you are into arrogant, controlling men.

The male character was a bore, arrogant beyond likability.

Make it more realistic.

It had a good storyline but the characters were too trusting, too unreal,
