Nice build up of suspense
Nice build up of suspense. This book kept you guessing till the very end I enjoyed Halle opened up and revealed more information but didn’t give you everything at one time suspense is meant to be built on suspense. Yes it was hard to read in certain places but it could’ve been a lot worse! I’d like the character build up I’d like the people I could’ve swore certain people were other people in the story so I don’t know how I got bill to be his mother but I thought so! The performance was excellent I’d love the British accent and how well it was. The voice of Mrs. W scared the life out of me and I never like to hear it because it got me down deep. Gave me shivers. Great job I’m going to look to see what else this author has written. A good read a quick read and one that kept you guessing to the very very end which I like. When I’m caught by surprise in a book it’s like eating a hot fudge sundae

Slow start
Please don’t let the first 21 chapters sway you from listening to this book. Chapter 22 will make you face drop. Twist and turns will make you think you know who done what. Keep listening, it’s worth it.

Amazing!! Love the twist!!
Did someone say plot twist?! YES!! This is pretty graphic but if u can deal with that, the story is very good!!!

I always love this narrator. Story seemed to drag in several places, and could have wrapped up an hour or two quicker.
narrator saved the day on this one. Story was just “ok”.
It was a freebie, though. I’ll give the author another chance.

Just when you think you know what's going on..
love loved! A happy-ish ending, I'll take it! :) Not too gruesome, dash of romance, and never a lull in the story like!
