Words cannot describe the importance of these works by Ms. Asaro. I can only wish everyone could listen and learn from her books as I have and be enriched by her magnificent mind. All Hail Empress Asaro.

This volume in the Skolian saga is truly a masterpiece! Asaro gives us heroes, villains and anti-heroes of great depth and complexity, a compelling storyline, beautiful prose and character development, set against the dark intrigues of the Eubian/Trader empire, as her protagonists wrestle with questions of morality, opposing values, war, peace and humanity.
