The English major and lawyer critic says that this was a very smart and ear catching story.
I have listened to over 300 audiobooks. It is how I relax myself when I leave work after practicing criminal law all day. I also listen to audiobooks while I am cleaning the house or doing other menial tasks. The performance and overall story was five stars. Performance, I only gave three stars, because my personal taste is that I am tired of the British cockney accent. I can’t understand some of the words they say, and it’s just harsh to listen to.

Worst narrator ever! Ruined the book!
What a shame a great string creepy set up only to be let down by unlikeable characters, silly plot developments, increasingly unbelievable situations and a main character so naive she was painful to follow. Plus the narrator drew out every other word as in “I sweaaaaare” in a languorous almost seductive and entirely inappropriate manner. Don’t waste your money.
