not a bad story...

but that Louisiana accent. Yes, they have a touch more accent than others do, but this was a little over the top. It was more bayou Louisiana than Baton Rouge. Other than that it was a pretty good story.

Love the narrators and the story line. The characters have good chemistry. Can’t wait to read the next one.

I'm glad that the author didn't have the characters be stupid and keep information that that needed to tell long. I'm definitely going to listen to the next book.

Not worth buying

I purchased this and am very disappointed in the ending and the story’s ending. Ended on a cliffhanger and forces you to buy book 2. Just not worth the purchase.

I loved the acsent, they both were talking in the story, some parts were so good that if felt like I was in the story.

New Take on Louisiana Vampires

Loving all the details, makes me want to see them. The story is kind of a slow burn and I’m here for it. Listening to the book by these narrators makes it come to life!

Has potential

There is a lot of time spent in character building without much progress in the story. It ends in a cliffhanger which sucks when the next book isn’t out yet. Overall good writing, strong heroine and mediocre hero. Without giving away too much, if you’re looking for a non-stop erotic novel-this isn’t it. In fact, there’s no sex at all. Some kissing and heavy petting is all you will find in this “romance.” I’d like to see more feeling come from the characters.

The accents almost made me stop listening….

The Louisiana accents were so heavy and made me not want to continue listening, but I decided to give the book a go. I am so happy that I did. It is a great story I say read it you’ll love it, on to book 2!
