Resumen del Editor

Summoners are born, not made.

For Bran of Ealdor, this is the one thing stopping him from becoming a member of the legendary warriors known as summoners. They are gods among men who can call monsters into battle to fight alongside them.

Mages, Rangers, Beastmasters, Protectors, Hunters, and Lancers. These are the six classes of summoners.

None of which Bran can become.

Until one day, when a griffin crash lands into the stable, a summoner riding on top of the beast.

That day, everything changes for Bran. He is thrust into a world of magical creatures and their masters, and he soon discovers just how unique he is among them. But being special puts a target on his back. Some of the most powerful summoners in the world would do anything to discover just what makes him so special.

Summoner’s Shadow is a LitRPG series that occurs in a medieval fantasy world. Bonding with monsters grants a summoner special abilities, dictated by the monster type and their class. Monsters can be leveled up, augmented, and evolved.

what a let down.

I usually do not write reviews but I just had to on this. How can you have the MC be so astute throughout the whole series then all of a sudden be an absolute idiot the last few chapters. Come on way to ruin a great MC.

Love me a great LitRPG series!

DB King hits it out of the park with this series and has me completely enthralled with this serious! Great characters, plot, and supporting cast along with great narration topped with this one being an Omnibus makes it all the better!

I hope there is more

This one had a really nice and clean close to a story arc, though I do wish for more, the forgotten realms could really be a great second trilogy

Do you feel guilty

At first the book starts out as a typical dungeon run book and it is really really good then after a while it starts to constantly talk about morality of an imaginary world. Seriously litrpg doesn't work. I remember back in the day Pokemon try the same thing yeah it bomb guilt is just not a good selling point unless you want to slap on it this is litrpg church. The first book is really fun you might want to punch out at that point.

Probably the most unique summoner series I have read in a while…!

I don’t typically care for summoner series or at least MC(s) that are summoner(s). Especially when they are so weak and dependent on others or their creatures. This series is definitely not one of them.
The main character is older and more mature than most. Having had life changing circumstances and experiences before the story. The fights are pretty epic and only get better as the story progresses.
The characters are entertaining and draw you in. The magic and class systems are interesting and fun. Then you have the lore of the various realms, history, and Bran’s backstory.
The only real issues I had was just that I did lose interest a couple of times but it was only temporary… then there was how the push for the end of book three felt. But that might only be me…

Great story!

This is the 2nd omnibus that I've listened to by D.B. King and I have to be honest...
This one is a bit better. The other one was great but this one is greater. 😁
I love LitRPG with summoners.
Great writing and narration.
I'm giving this book 7.5 out of 5 stars.

unique story with good narration

It was a good story and well woth one credit for the omnibus. i am sad the other books aren't available I would probably continue the series. I enjoyed the narrator and thought his performance was really good. I would have liked a little more team dynamic rather than a one man show, but overall i enjoyed it.

GREAT SERIES

Very well done very engaging. It brought out a lot of emotions in me. I laughed out loud at sometimes and got very angry at others. Excellent stories.

Several hours of repeating

Good concept the only Problem you tend to just gloss over how things happen and repeat yourself over things that we already know happened a lot Sometimes within seconds of each other
