A surprising book

I love this author and this reader. It was the perfect pre summer mystery book to read.

She did it again

I love this author. Always is the best.plot and characters that keep you cheer I g them on til the end Take no sass and move on attitude

I didn't want it to end

I listened to this book in one day!! it's 2am and I just finished. so sad its over. there was a bit of mystery, some romance, a bit a drama, the book kept me wanting to know what happened. there are lots of well developed characters. I would love for there to be a sequel to this book. I know I'll miss everyone who works at the saint!

Great writing!

Unsuspecting fun! Great summer read! Southern Georgia charm and mystery, hospitality and resort life. Audible version was great!

Enjoyed the story

It was a fun, light "beach" read, and I enjoyed the story and the setting. I was confused by the narration because much of the time it sounded robotic.

Another hit....

I have read every book by this author and I can say that she has that special something that adds the perfect bit of flavor to every story she writes. My favorites are the Wheezy and Bebe series (please write more), and the book Spring Fever. Actually, I listen to them all while on my morning run after I have read the books. All that being said,,,
There is nothing like a well told story and this author does just that with Summers at the Saint.
If you have read Spring Fever, Summers at the Saint feels like that book in several ways, but not in a stale way. The characters are dimensional and relatable. The setting makes me want to head to the beach and not come home.
This book is set in the 2000's, but you get a great hint of 1950-1960's vacation feel. Think about the setting in Dirty Dancing, but at the beach rather than the mountains.
This book has published at the perfect time of year, just in time to pack for a day at the beach or the pool.
I await Mary Kay Andrews next well told tale.... I know it will be a good one. Until then, I'll just keep enjoying Summers at the Saint and all the rest.

Kathleen McInerney - has been the best narrator for Andrews' books. She is easy to listen to and has a good handle on voice change between the characters.

I enjoyed this book as I do all Of Mary Kay Andrews books. This one has a surprise. I wasn't expecting this deviation from her normal stories. I ended up liking the book. I hope you will also.

Fun and easy beach read.

Definitely a great book for days at the beach or pool. Enjoyed it and finished it quickly.
