Squeak is an menage (m+m+f) balloon animal shifter omegaverse novella with (artistic takes on) OV designations and omegaverse-specific concepts like knotting, heats, ruts, nests, mate bites, bondings, and more. There is a brief (non-main-character) death at the very end. There is discussion of past violence and sexual compulsion/slavery, but it’s all occurred by the time the story starts. MM relationships do not need a warning, but consider this your heads up that the MCs are together, as they often are in my books. This story is polyamorous/polyam. OV balloon shifters .. yes

I loved this audio rendition of one of my favorite stories by Vera Valentine. Keane and Seb are hiding/working at the zoo, on the run from their creator and tormentor. Poppy, an art student, meets Seb and chaos and heat ensue. The narrator brilliantly voices all the characters while giving us an audio treat 🎈

It was awesomely! unique and so imaginative.... loved the shifterverse created. Would love to read way more.... Thank you....

Great narration!

The storyline was wild to me but the storytelling well done and I really enjoyed the relationship building. I was equally impressed by the solo narrator- the two male voices were distinct and I had to really remind myself it was being done by a female. Kudos all around.

I needed more pages to explain everything.

The ending was so rushed. I was like what is happening and why is it happening so quickly.

Not Expected and I'll Take it

Balloon Animal.Shapeshifter smut. A thing I didn't think I needed, but here I am now curious about the buddin journey of Poppy, Sebastian, Keen. This is a smut snack. Don't expect a Pulitzer from this. What you can expect is an unknown factor of a book that will hook you. There's not a whole lot in this short novella. Just laying the ground work to a much bigger story and world. What it does give is enough curiosity that you want book 2.

Balloon animal shifters? Don’t knock it til you try it

Vera does it again — I don’t know how but she can take the most wild sounding ideas and turn them into these amazing stories with wit, depth, and heat that often belie the short novella packaging they come in. It’s a true talent!

Michelle Price knocked the narration out of the park too and the “special fan requested sound effect” had me absolutely cackling!!

So fun, I wish it was longer.

it was funny, unique and sexy. considering it was about two magical balloon people, she did a great job. It held my attention the whole time. I laughed quite a bit, and at times, my jaw dropped wide open. recommending this to everyone.

Audiobook and Book Review

So. I. Um. What did I just listen to? Like. Surprisingly I didn’t hate this. Did I love it? No. But I’m oddly fascinated by what I just listened to. Michelle Price narrated this and she did a fantastic job with it. I enjoyed both the make and female character voices.

The “twist” 🤦🏽‍♀️ if you will was convenient but also kind of clever. The descriptions weren’t over the top. And as I said, it kept me weirdly intrigued. Do I recommend? Yes? -ish.

I just. Funnel cake icing is their c*m!? Wtf? That can’t be good if they release inside her, right?

That was weird and I’ve read weird stuff before.

I don’t think I would have been able to get through this had it been a novel. Glad it was short.

I didn’t really get it

Not my cup of tea, but if you’re into balloon omegaverse, this is for you.
