if you have read Heiser's other book, Unseen Realm, you'll definitely want to read this one.

Great collection of thoughts on the subject.

I have the other works of Dr. Michael Heiser. This one in particular focuses on the sin of the watchers. I like how the original research he did for The Unseen Realm is so broad that many other books can come out of it with more research on the focused subjects. The only reason I took one star off of the performance is that the narrators voice will change between certain areas of the book. I can only guess it had to be rerecorded or done after the previous recording and added in later. It's not anything obtrusive but when listening it is noticable. I highly recommend reading or listening to The Unseen Realm as a basis to get a good understanding of Dr. Heiser's thought process.

Intriguing

There were glitches, especially chapter 9. But content was thought provoking.There are a lot of details so be prepared to engage thoughtfully.

I like this narrator!

His inflection and emphasis keeps me attentive to the reading. And of course the content is superb, bringing me back for another session time after time. Dr. Heiser is missed.

The Narrator made it difficult to finish

I love Dr. Heiser's work and was eager to get this, but the narrator made it difficult for me to finish listening. I tried to power through, but he was too distracting. Ill have to get the physical book.

Who are the Nephalim?

Very scholarly work. Performer reads the footnote references. That was little distracting to me, since I was listening to it to get an overview of his thoughts. I definitely will buy the print copy so that I can study it and be able to consult the footnotes.

An Educational read.

I learned a lot from this book, lots of information and the supporting sources. If you are a Christian and interested in the Biblical book of Genesis, then this help fill in some of the details lost on the modern western mind.

"snotty" reading

Michael Heiser was a damn interesting Biblical scholar with some crucial insights. i'm sad that it's now "was" instead of "is"......... i have no idea why this narrator affects this bizarre, snotty tone throughout. it's *really* off-putting.

The Author is Amazing...The Narrator is terrible!

I can tell the author did a lot of research in this book. It is amazing because of that but it was hard to listen to because the narrator was terrible..
