It's like having your own personal athletic coach!
Instead of a coach just yelling at you all the time, this audiobook is like having your own personal athletic coach who gets inside your head and helps you figure out how to get the right mindset for sports success! The narrator sounds like a highly energetic, go-getter kind of person, which inspires you to keep listening and to believe in what he says. My favorite chapter was the Zen athlete, which I thought was a nice addition to all the other techniques--- a more modern and current PC approach to sports. Give this book a try and you will be able to improve your performance mindset if you use even just a few of the methods!

Wonderful!

Practical advice for real results
This book is perfect for any athlete of any age or skill to up their game and be their best. I wish I had it when I was younger to use the visualizations and focus exercises to help me with performance nerves. I have had my niece listen to help her with her confidence and she’s benefiting already by being able to shake off bad plays and concentrating on doing well.

A Wealth of Information for All Athletes
This audiobook is packed with helpful information and practical how-tos that can catapult an athlete to his/her maximum performance level. I loved the term the author used..."energy vampires" that suck positive energy and drag you down. These are the negative habits you must break and the author give tips on how to do this. I found it particularly interesting how the author teaches you how to channel your emotions with easy steps such as "breathing" and focusing on sensory information around you. A great book for athletes of all ages.
