The perfect conclusion to a wonderful series!

This is my favorite series in a long time. The anti heroes make my wicked heart sing. The performance was spot on; emotion and snark were so well portrayed.

This is one of the best series!!!

I’m so sad the story is over, but what a ride it was!!! The authors and narrator were fantastic. Absolutely love the world they created & would love some spin offs from this world. Quinn is definitely not your typical heroin she’s not a good person, but also does the right thing when it counts. This isn’t a fluffy book. It’s a story where a lot of bad things happen & some are done by the good guys too.

I enjoyed this series until what felt like a rather rushed, anti- climatic, and unfinished ending. There were a few characters left hanging. Unless there will be a spinoff?

This was the best way to end it. I didn’t expect it to end like a warm hug. Mad my heart so happy.

a good ending to a good series

nice wrap up to this series. it's a good fantasy series & the epilogue was nice to see a little of the future.

A fantasy series ends on a delicious dark wind!

This has been one of the better series in the #darkfantasy #romance genre I have read in a long time and I am bummed that it is now over.

Oh but the Worldbuilding was superb. We journeyed through different lands, cultures and creatures! Every scene was detailed and clear as if you were standing next to Quinn herself, seeing what she was seeing.
The secondary characters evolve, influence and gain our investment as a listener/reader more in this last book than any other. I would love a spin off with Axe as the main character and I am REALLY interested in our little soul eater!
I Love that the author has guts to go dark in a dark fantasy... so many wimp out.

Great ending!

Wonderful ending. It was a mostly happy ending. I will admit to crying a few times but overall it was satisfying. All loose ends were tied up which I appreciate. I hate when books leave things unresolved. Great series, highly recommend.

I love the dark

I really loved this series as stories of heroes and goodness can be very mundane now days. Here we got people who could love despite accepting themselves and their darkness to the fullest extent and I couldn’t help but love them more for it. Forget being “good”. This was refreshing and the world within the series is astounding

conflicted... but I think that's the point

At one point, I wanted to stop the series, but then I couldn't. The story and the characters burrowed under my skin relentlessly. I both wanted them to succeed and fail the whole time. the whole series is a romance but individually, I wouldn't call them romance novels. They are more like Dark fantasy with a touch of, what ever that force is that draws broken people together.

There are no lovey dovey heart flutters in this series. You aren't going to fall in love with the main characters, but you'll damn sure respect them. I don't want to be apart of this world in any way and very few characters have redeeming qualities. I'm so glad I finished this series because I really needed to know that each one of them were going to fare.
This is a series where you are going through the darkest parts of their tattered soul, where nothing is beautiful, or gentle, or kind. But it is just and deserved.

When I'm looking for a new book or series, sometimes I want to know how the book will make me feel over things like plot points or genre. This book made me feel pensive, anxious and hopeful. In a world where everyone hides their darkness behind a mask, it was refreshing to read a character that wields it like a weapon.
