Good Story

not a fan of the details of their sex lives. liked the main story line.

Slow start

Disappointing start too much repetitive dialogue trying to create a sexual tension. Otherwise when the intrigue of the story finally came it was compelling.

Gotta love the HEA :-)

Wonderful action, lots of emotion, a hunky hero and a 'pixie' of a heroine. Lovely story for lovers of romance.

Loved the narration..The story line certainly kept my attention. I can't wait until the next in this series is released..

The storyline is good, I despise the filty language and the sex, both being way overdone.

Great read!

I really enjoyed this one. It was interesting and kept me engaged the entire time. I enjoyed getting to know Matt and Trista in this story as well as their two animals, Sheba (k-9) and Poofy (cat). Trista is a CIA analyst and is very good at her job. She doesn't have the best interpersonal skills as she has always been very smart and so spent more time on the outside social circles. She is immediately attracted to Matt but doesn't think he sees her that way and she stutters around him since she likes him. It's cute. Matt is drawn to Trista as well but do to something that happened when he was 16, he has a lot of guilt and doesn't think he deserves to be happy and find someone to last. Someone attacks Trista and Matt is there in time to intervene and stop it before she gets hurt too bad. It sets them on a collision path though to spending more time together and trying to figure out who is after her and why. I got more connected to the characters the longer the story went on and I loved getting to know Matt's friends as well. This story was well written and had the intrigue and mystery to go along with the relationship elements. I enjoyed watching these two bring the best out of the other and helping them through what they had going on. I am excited to see what comes next in the series.

The author and narrator are new to me. I enjoyed the story. Vanessa Daniels was ok. She took a while for me to get used too. I was hooked into the story from the very first, the suspense. I did get tired of the repeat of how drab the heroine was and REALLY sick of how the hero didn't deserve to be happy. I just kept listening the story did get better . Tee O'Fallon writes about sensitive subject of OUR HEROS needing counseling and what some think as a taboo it is to receive it and how to deal with this issue. All in all it was a good story.

More of a love story than a mystery. not what I was looking for. narrator was excellent.

Loved it can't wait to read the next 1 in the series. I couldn't put it down.
