Interesting

Pretty interesting read. I wasn't expecting for it to get extremely religious during most of the book, to the point of having to take a break from listening to it because the author was preaching to the reader. But if hiking and religion is your thing then this is a definite read! But if hiking only is, take it in small sections and it's worth listening to!

This was a great story! I like his humorous style and I was disappointed when the story ended, but I know it was only the beginning.....

A Thorough Enjoyment

I enjoyed listening to this book, from the first words to the last, and everything in between. I loved the spiritual connection, the adventure and the surprises. I longed for the strength, energy and ability to through hike the AT, my imagination and dreams will have to do for now. I certainly did enjoy the ability to come along, if only in my heart, mind and soul. Fantastic story, narration, and message. Thanks for sharing.

Great book

This was a great book! I found myself laughing in the beginning with some of his stories while growing up. Very easy to get into this book.
Made me want to hike the trail, sounded like it would be a great adventure.
The best part was the last chapter. What a great message.

Good listen, a lot of "god" talk.

It was a good listen and I enjoyed the narration. But when God started amswering him, I seriously started to wonder about his mental health.

If you're religious, or believe in God, you'll probably love this book.

I enjoyed hearing about all the people he met, it was what kept me going through the book. Overall, well done.

This inspirational book is one of my favorites. I've read the written book and listened to the Audible version. It helps rejuvenates and focus my priorities, plus it's a fun story to enjoy!
